I get asked a lot of questions so I thought I would answer the most common ones.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met at ConservativeMatch.com. I was on there checking out guys for my older sister and Hubby sent me a message. We had a lot in common and lived in the same area so we went on a date after writing to each other for a couple of week. The rest is history. You can read the whole story here

Did you know you would have your kids so close together or so many?

Nope, God has a funny way of changing your plans.

How many kids are you going to have?

However many God decides to send to us.

How did you decide to have home births?

My mom had five home births (plus four in hospital) so it was something I grew up around. When it was time to have my own child it was natural for me to want a home birth. I am thankful my husband is on board and things have gone somewhat smoothly. In case you wanted to ready them here are the kid's birth stories: Edith, Frank, Greta, Harriet, Ike, Joan, and Keith.

How do you make time for your husband when there are so many little ones around?

It isn't easy, but you have to work at it. Thankfully, all the kids are normally in bed by 8pm so we spend most evenings together. I also try to schedule at least one or two date nights in a month. I think it is very important to leave the house and reconnect with your husband with one-on-one time. You can also read my ideas for becoming a better wife and how you shouldn't try to play the martyr

How did you decide to homeschool?

Both my husband and I were homeschooled and we knew from the start that we wanted the same for our kids. You can read more about my reasons for homeschooling here, remembering why I homeschool when times are tough, and an interview on how I homeschool.
